HOW IT WORKS?
. Start an Arpp by drawing the first piece of the project.
. The next player will draw their piece without seeing the whole picture. They'll only have a clue from your drawing.
. After all the players are done, the final project will be revealed. Watch as the pieces are combined together bringing your art to life.
The fun part of Arpp is that each artist only has a small clue about what the previous artist drew. Using this "sneak peek", draw your part to your heart's content!
Join, invite friends, or create new projects as you imagine something fun, different and downright wacky...if you want ;)
It's what social art was meant to be.
Enjoy the surprise when your project comes to life and it's revealed. Experience the randomness with each completed Arpp.
Arpp is based on a game created by a group of Surrealist artists in the 1920s.
The game called “Exquisite Corpse” brought together artists to draw, play and collaborate for fun and discovery.
The fun part was that each artist only had a small clue about what the precious artist drew.
And depending on how many parts there were, you might have two, three or more artists working on the same piece. When the piece was completed, it was unfolded and revealed.
Arpp takes its inspiration of randomness, collaboration, creativity and fun from Exquisite Corpse. Arpp is what social was meant to be.
